Is there a way to calibrate the location on your device? I know some devices allow it. I've seen my location get jumped from a highway to a side road before. It's funny to watch the directions freak out.

Google maps goes insane around DC on my phone. In the spaghetti junction areas, it doesn't know where it is.

The navigation in my Subaru would tell me to get off the highway, then back on. Only happened twice, but I sure looked like a tool when it happened (I was out of town and didn't know where I was going, so I blindly followed it)

I drove through DC once. My blood pressure has yet to level out

Downtown DC outside of rush hour isn't too bad. I navigated an Expedition and 16' cargo trailer through capitol hill without too much issue. The surrounding areas though, make me want to go on a mass murder...

Something like this happened to me, the place I wanted to go was STRAIGHT down the street I was on, in the SAME direction I was already going, it wanted me however to get on the nearest on-ramp, go to the next exit and spend 30 minutes getting back through a bunch of roads to get to something which was right down the damn street. I should have screenshot'd it like you did.

Google Maps is the new Apple Maps.

It once made me take a shortcut that didn't exist. The road was clearly a dead end with a forest behind it. The road never continued on, it even showed so on screen. Yet somehow the blue line of travel told me to continue on off the road and magically reconnect with the expressway 2 miles later.

They hate merge lanes. Seriously every merge lane is like 15 ft.
